Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Meridian Home Care ("we," "us," "our") collects through this website, what we do with it, who else handles it, and how to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. The short version: the site collects what you type into the contact form, it sells nothing, and it does not track you for advertising.

What the Contact Form Collects

The form is on our contact page. When you send a message from it, we ask for:

  • your name, phone number and email address (email is optional);
  • who the care is for;
  • the town where care would happen;
  • the type of care you're asking about;
  • a message about what's been hard lately.

Along with what you type, the form records any campaign tags (UTM parameters and ad click identifiers, such as gclid) that were part of the link you used to reach the site, such as a tag showing you came from an online ad. We use these only to see how people find us. On their own they do not identify you.

The form also has spam protection: a hidden field that people never see but automated bots tend to fill in, and automated spam filtering that screens submissions before they reach us. Both exist to keep spam out of our inbox, not to profile you. If the filter flags a message as possible spam, it goes to YourSites, the company that built and looks after this website, so a person can check that a real request wasn't flagged by mistake.

A Note About Health Details

Because this is home care, you may want to tell us about a diagnosis, a recent hospital stay or a loved one's medications. Please use the form only for what we need to call you back, such as who the care is for and the kind of help you're looking for. We'd rather talk through health details with you by phone, at (602) 200-4819.

Information Any Website Receives

Like any website, this one receives the technical information a web server sees when your browser asks for a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the request. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard hosting logs and uses that information to deliver pages, keep the site secure and fix problems. We do not use it to identify you or to build a profile of you.

How We Use Your Information

We use what you send for one purpose: to answer you. That means calling or emailing you back to talk about care. Sending a message does not sign you up for a newsletter or a marketing list. The campaign details tell us which links bring people to us.

How Your Message Is Delivered and Stored

The form hands your submission to a transactional email service, Resend, which delivers it as an email to our inbox. Resend processes the message only to deliver it for us and may hold a copy under its own retention terms. Our inbox is an Apple iCloud account, so once your message arrives it is stored by Apple under Apple's terms. At Meridian Home Care, only the people who answer care inquiries read it. If you call us instead, we do not record the call through this website. If you give an email address on the form, the site also sends you one automatic email saying we got your message.

Cookies and Tracking

This site uses Google Analytics, a service from Google, to understand how people use it. Google Analytics sets cookies and records the pages you visit, how you reached the site, your device and browser, your general location (about the city, worked out from your IP address), and actions such as tapping our phone number or sending the contact form. It does not receive your name, phone number, email address or message, though it can record the type of care and the city you picked on the form. We use these reports only to improve the site. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear site storage, and Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

What We Don't Do With Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to lead brokers, marketers or other businesses for their own use. We share it only with the service providers that make the site and the form work (our hosting provider, the email delivery service, Apple, which hosts our inbox, Google for the site's analytics, and our website company when a message is flagged as possible spam), and when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

Form messages stay in our email for as long as they are useful for answering you, following up, and keeping ordinary business records. If you ask us to delete your message, we delete it, except for records the law requires us to keep.

Your Choices and How to Make a Request

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We honor these requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live. Call (602) 200-4819 and tell us what you would like. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm a detail from the form, such as the email address you gave, before we act. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, this policy will say so first and explain how to opt out.

Children

This site is for adults arranging care, for themselves or for someone they love. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If a child has sent us something, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete it and we will.

Changes to This Policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
